Microsoft is yet to reveal the list of free games for Xbox Games with Gold subscribers for next month but if the company going big and double on this month's lineup is any indication, another stellar batch of games await loyal subscribers of the service.

While this time may be best used for throwing in predictions and suggestions, Microsoft took advantage of the brewing basketball season to lay out a promotion virtual and real-life basketballers certainly could not and would not want to forgo.

Xbox Live with Gold members who own an Xbox One will be able to shoot and score on the "NBA 2K15" court for free this weekend. While the legendary basketball simulation is not a free game offering by Microsoft, this will allow gamers who are hesitant of getting the title try it out.

"NBA 2K15" became up for grabs by Apr. 24 and gamers can still get on the court until 2:01am PDT of Apr. 27. Xbox Games with Gold members who played get to keep their game score, awards and achievements even though they choose not to purchase the full version of the game.

But for those who were swayed by the one-of-a-kind virtual basketball experience brought about by "NBA 2K15" and decides to jump right on to get the most out of it, players may very well get the 40 percent off "NBA 2K15 Bundle," with 15,000 Virtual Currency from the Xbox Store. The weekend is made even more special as fans get 33 percent discount on Virtual Currency.

For now, Microsoft is mum about the next bunch of free games for Xbox Games with Gold subscribers but gamers could only hope that the company will double up the game offers once more while keeping the intimidating quality of the games they give away.

Microsoft is expected to spill the beans on Apr. 29.
