WWE Rumors: Will Randy Orton return at the Royal Rumble 2015?

There are a lot of personalities expected to return at the 2015 Royal Rumble such as AJ Lee and Sheamus. And while we had already reported about how their respective comebacks could be as far as the WWE storyline is concerned, you can add the Viper, Randy Orton, to that list.

Orton, who was last seen in November after that celebrated attack he made on Seth Rollins and then Triple H has since been out of the WWE limelight. And apparently this was because Orton needed some time off from the wrestling scene to film a WWE Studios film.

However since Orton is finished doing the film, he is expected to be back by the time the Rumble gets underway. The question now is how and where Orton would be making his appearance. Could it be at the 30-man rumble or will the Viper sets his eyes on Seth Rollins once again.

Rollins is set to participate in a Triple Threat match with champion Brock Lesnar and John Cena. And if the WWE decides to pick off from where Rollins and Orton last left off, there is that looming possibility that Orton may be appearing to give Rollins some payback after the beating he got last November.

Also, it could be both. Aside from interfering in the match, Orton could be one of the surprise entrants in the Rumble too. There are three big names (or surprises) expected to appear in the Rumble and in all likeliness, Orton could be one of the three.

The Royal Rumble will be held this coming Sunday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
