WWE rumors 2015: Has Dolph Ziggler been fired?

Without a doubt, Dolph Ziggler has been on rise and seems to be someone the World Wrestling Entertainment is building on. But that was before he allegedly did a big boo-boo when he booked himself in a comedy show without asking permission from the WWE.

And with Ziggler losing the WWE Intercontinental championship to Bad News Barrett, everything seems to be making sense now. Apparently the WWE is peeved at Ziggler which, according to a reliable WWE source (Reddit user MetsFan4Ever), fired him.

Ziggler is best remembered as the same man who made it big during the last Survivor Series. It was obvious that he was getting a big push in his career. But a decision which he knew he would be able to do has made all those aspiration academic at this point.

Ziggler could have been a favorite to win in the Royal Rumble as well but as things stand now, he has reached a dead end by not asking permission from the WWE to appear in that comedy show.

If you tie it all up, it seems to justify whey Barrett ended up winning the IC title from Ziggler since had he left without relinquishing the title, he would have brought it with him and thus meaning to more complications on how to instill a new champion on their roster.

Ziggler won the IC title from Luke Harper in December 14, 2014. The reign was short-lived however as he lost the title to Barrett last January 5, 2015 on Monday Night Raw with the help of the Authority no less.

But have we really seen the last of Ziggler? Sources say that he would still be back alongside Ryback and Erick Rowan at the Royal Rumble after an "invasion" kind of an angle which will happen on the January 19, 2015 edition of RAW. So if these rumors are true, it would be best to stay tuned at what happens at the WWE Monday show.
