The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) women's wrestling division has been scheduled to hold its first Royal Rumble ever for the next WWE Raw event. Not only will the event be definitely a historic moment for the sport but it will also include 30 female wrestlers who will be pit against each other. Although many fans are excited about the new feature, some have voiced out their concerns -- thinking that the event may not fulfill everyone's expectations.

One of WWE's legends, Kurt Angle, took to the wrestling ring recently to announce the rules for the Royal Rumble Women's match. Apart from the main news that John Cena has finally confirmed his entry for the men's Royal Rumble match, Angle confirmed that the same rules for the men's Royal Rumble will apply to the women. This means that 30 men and women wrestlers are scheduled to enter the stage for the next WWE Raw, which is a sizable roster.

The next Raw event, which happens within this month, is definitely an ambitious one. However, as reported by Gamespot, there are many things that could go wrong depending on what the behind-the-scenes showrunners decide regarding the outcome of the matches in general. One concern is that a male wrestler may disguise himself as a woman in order to spice things up.

This type of gimmick will not be good for the sport, especially since the event should aspire to establish itself first -- even if the women team together for a moment to defeat the man, whoever that may be. Additionally, nothing should come between the true winner of the match, which means that no last-minute plot twists should alter the outcome of the historical women's Royal Rumble. This includes underhanded technicalities that may jeopardize the results.

It is important to note that the winner of the women's Royal Rumble will have a title shot at the next WrestleMania event. Although there may have been speculations that Ultimate Fighting Championship superstar Ronda Rousey will finally make her debut on Royal Rumble, Metro believes that Asuka should be the rightful owner, regardless. This is due to the fact that she remains undefeated in both NXT and the WWE.

WWE Raw will take place on Sunday, Jan. 28, 7:00 p.m. EST on pay-per-view.
