'WWE 2K16' news: Finn Bálor character rendering looks lifelike

2K Sports aims for realistic visuals and representations of fighters in "WWE 2K16," and if its newly published "cool pic" is anything to go by, then it looks like the game studio is keeping its word. The latest installment in the popular wrestling simulation series is expected to boast the most lifelike renderings of its characters.

Pro wrestler Finn Bálor, who was recently confirmed as a playable character in the upcoming game, beamed next to an excellent in-game rendering of his "ready to beat and kill" face-painted self in the photo, which shows that 2K Sports has markedly upped its game in the visual department.

Bálor, with all the glory of the haunting face paint, looks cool and scary as Demon Bálor when hit with the right, dramatic lighting. It remains to be seen if 2K Sports will be able to also pull that off in "WWE 2K16." Realistic is the game here after all.

Attack of the Fanboy is 100 percent positive that 2K Sports will have alternate face paints for Bálor. The paint allows the wrestler to even transform himself to iconic comic book characters such as Venom. It is still a mystery, however, if Bálor sans the paint will be seen in action in the title, too.

Moreover, a cool entrance theme for the wrestler with a name that reflects his villain-themed appearance is expected to come with the remarkable recreation of his look in the game.

Aside from being a visual stunner, fans remain hopeful that "WWE 2K16" will also get a dose of modes, both new and old, one of which is being able to fully customize the wrestlers and create a finisher, a diva, an entrance, and an arena. Also, the likes of Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Sting and Hulk Hogan are hoped to be part of the game's roster.

"WWE 2K16" will be released on Oct. 27.
