'WWE 2K15': First DLC update adds 5 WCW legends to gamers' playable roster

"WWE 2K15" proves that the more wrestlers to play as, the merrier. And right this instant, gamers can bump up their roster with five WCW legends by getting their hands on the title's first DLC pack, released yesterday.

Players who have been longing to see Bam Bam Bigelow, Diamond Dallas Page, Fit Finlay, Lord Steven Regal and Lex Luger brawling and doing their thing inside the wrestling ring only need $7.99 to get them. In addition, wrestling superstars Hulk Hogan and Sting seem to have gone from respective pre-order bonus and special edition exclusives to double-versioned contents priced at $2.99.

The "WCW Superstar" DLC pack is not included in the title's season pass, which lets players make use of the accelerator that activates the non-DLC content in "WWE 2K15" instantly, complete with the future 2K Showcase additions (One More Match, Hall of Pain and Path of the Warrior) and even the WWE Diva Paige. Those who would like to get their hands on everything the season pass release has to offer, which is scheduled for an early 2015 release, can purchase it for $24.99. But gamers can get each for $9.99.

One More Match allows players to again experience the enmity between WWE Superstars Randy Orton and Christian back in 2011. Along with them are Edge, Mark Henry, and Sheamus. Matches can be conducted in 2011 playable arenas namely SmackDown, Extreme Rules, Over the Limit and Capitol Punishment with this pack.

Hall of Fame goes by the tale of Mark Henry's bouts. Along with Mark Henry are the 2011 versions of Big Show, Kane, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sheamus, The Great Khali, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Ryback. Arenas to choose from include SmackDown (2011), Vengeance (2011) and WrestleMania 29.

Path of the Warrior pays homage to the greatness of the Ultimate Warrior. Joining the wrestling luminary (1989-1996) in the roster are Hulk Hogan (1990), Andre the Giant (1988) and Sgt. Slaughter (1991). Playable WWE Legends include Honky Tonk Man (1988), Rick Rude (1990), Macho King (1991) and Colonel Mustafa (1991). WWE Superstars like Undertaker (1991) and Hunter Hearst Helmsley (1996) will also be there. As a bonus, WWE Hall of Fame ring announcer Howard Finkel and WWE managers Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenan, Paul Bearer, Sherri, Sid Justice and General Adnan will be made accessible. The showground for this pack consists of WrestleMania VI, VII and XII as well as SummerSlam (1988, 1990 and 1991), Saturday Night's Main Event XXIV and Madison Square Garden.

Those who want to play as NXT Diva Emma, former WWE Champion JBL or NXT Superstars Adam Rose and The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) will have to wait for the "NXT Arrival" DLC pack by early 2015. The pricing for this content is $6.99. Another pack to watch for next year is the $3.99 "New Moves" Pack that will feature 30 new moves. Part of the array of actions is the alternate version of Sister Abigail popularized by Bray Wyatt, who likes to crush his opponents from the ring corner. Furthermore, the iconic Multiple Gut Wrenches move first executed by Cesaro will also grace the bundle.
