WWE 2015 news, rumors: Kevin Owens is on his way to be top heel

Ever since Kevin Owens got elevated into the main WWE roster, he has slowly been making waves. Though he is seen as a heel, some see him otherwise.

But as he progresses, it would be surprising that his evolvement leaves a lot of opportunities open and that could lead to him surpassing the WWE's main heel at the moment – WWE Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins.

Not that Rollins is a bad heel, the thing is that his character may have been used up as we speak. Owens, breaking barriers by feuding with John Cena thrives on a different kind of storyline where he uses his power and talent to good use that makes him a bit more interesting to follow compared to Rollins since fans don't seem to see any new changes on the horizon for Rollins.

Though he is sitting at the top right now as top heel, Owens is certainly not far behind. Owens' old school tactic is something that interests fans and with more work, it will not be surprising to find him surpassing Rollins.

Owens is set to face John Cena yet again at WWE Money in the Bank and many feel that he may likely end up scoring another one over Cena.

Brash and cocky as he may seem, the thing about Owens is that being branded a villain is that he doesn't seem to be aware he is one. He goes by the storyline of fighting to feed his family and apparently that leads to hard work, determination and of course talent.

Owens is vicious and lives up to his role with plenty of options on the horizon. The same cannot be seen for Rollins as he continues to use the Authority to stay on top.

Regardless, this is one trend to look out for. Owens is set to take another step into that fame path this coming Sunday when WWE Money in the Bank kicks off.

Owens faces Cena at WWE MOTB at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT. The pay-per-view can also be viewed by the WWE Network.
