The most successful online game in history, "World of Warcraft" by Blizzard has been around for a while now. Ever since its initial release on Nov. 24, 2004, the game has spawned numerous expansion packs and provided its fans with one of the most diverse and abundant digital content in the realm of video games. Recently, rumors have surfaced that the game's developers are planning on releasing yet another expansion pack.

In a report by DVS Gaming, there has been an image circulating on the internet about a potential upcoming expansion for "World of Warcraft" titled "Tides of Vengeance." The rumors are further fueled by the fact that the developers of the game will be heading over to the Blizzard Convention, also known as Blizz Con, wherein they could possibly announce the news regarding the expansion that is now in question.

Blizz Con is set to take place on Nov. 3, and rumors of "World of Warcraft" further adding on to the already insurmountable in-game content still excites loyal fans of the games up to this day. Another supporting evidence to the possibility of a new expansion is that in the past week Blizzard had released an update for the game's beta servers.

Even if the update is a weak argument regarding the status of the expansion, it is not a totally far-fetched idea that the development team of the game could be using the beta servers to actually test the game or even provide players with an opportunity to be beta testers themselves.

Due to Blizzard lending their servers to Bungie for the game "Destiny 2," it has somewhat affected the in-game economy of "World of Warcraft." In a report by Game Rant, players will be able to avail tokens for their gold. Gold is something that is abundant in the game, especially for veteran players. Subsequently, players will have the option to use the tokens they have acquired to turn them into Battle.net credits.
