'Game of Thrones' live stream [HBO GO]; Watch online season 5 episode 1 - 'Wars to Come'

Jaime and Cersei in Game of Thrones season 5 HBO

It can't get any more exciting than this. Come Sunday, "Game of Thrones" Season 5 will premiere on HBO after almost a year of waiting. Brace yourself, the "GOT" worldwide phenomenon is coming again and this time, it brought the wars in Westeros with it.

The first episode is titled "The Wars to Come" and according to the official synopsis, "Cersei and Jaime adjust to a world without Tywin. Varys reveals a conspiracy to Tyrion. Dany faces a new threat to her rule. Jon is caught between two kings."

In the Season 5 premiere, the characters will face the aftermath of the shocking events that transpired in the last season. But in this particular episode, the focus will be Cersei, Jamie, Tyrion, Daenerys and Jon Snow.

According to the spoilers, Cersei and Jamie will try and find a way on how they can lead the kingdom now that Tywin is gone. Also, there's a chance that Tywin's funeral may be featured in Episode 1.

Meanwhile, Varys and Tyrion's companionship is one of the most interesting things to come this season by far. Varys didn't just help Tyrion escape, he is helping him find the right heir to the Iron Throne—The Queen of Dragons.

In the preview, Tyrion asked why Varys would set him free and risk his life and position. Varys said that he didn't do it for Jamie nor Tyrion, he did it for the Seven Kingdoms. Further, Varys explained:

"I don't believe in saviors. I believe that men of talent have a part to play in the war to come."

As for Daenerys, she will be facing problems of her own in Mereen. There's a group of rebels called "Sons of the Harpy" that are targeting her soldiers and supporters. She has to figure out a way to stop the rebels.

Elsewhere, Jon Snow is caught between two kings, Stannis Baratheon and Mance Ryder. Jon wants Mance to surrender for the survival of the Wildings. However, Mance refuses as he is fighting for something more than his pride.

Don't miss the Season 5 premiere of "Game of Thrones" on April 12, Sunday on HBO. Alternatively can be watched online through live stream with HBO Go and HBO Connect.
