Episode 14 of "The Vampire Diaries" titled "Stay" will make all hearts sink. Along with the promise of a new chapter comes the end of another one and it will all happen in the next installment of the supernatural drama series.
Although fans have been geared up for Jeremy's exit from Mystic Falls, the preparations for the situation prove ineffective when faced to accept the circumstances. Nevertheless, Jeremy is all set to move to a new town, pursue art school and eventually find his foothold and move on. Although this breaks Elena's heart, she and Alaric knows that it is high time for her younger brother to make a start. Elena will be seen as the bravest as she lets her brother go, leaving the siblings to hark back to the past and everything that has transpired over the years in their hometown. His departure won't be immediate though as there are things that are bound to mess this up. Apparently, Enzo will hold Jeremy off a bit as the vampire's dark plans places Matt and Sarah's in grave danger.
Meanwhile, the episode will also culminate to Stefan and Caroline's romance. The latter struggles to get past her mother's almost helpless situation and it is great to know that Stefan is by her side to help her get through such tough times. Fans of the "Steroline" love team will see tender moments between the two in "Stay" for sure—now that they are slowly being drawn unavoidably closer as Caroline primes herself for the last days of the moribund Sheriff Forbes.
Before her imminent passing though, the sheriff will enlist Damon's help to crack the case that involves Elena and Jeremy's parents. The gang and the viewers are close to figuring out what really happened when they perished. Executive producer Julie Plec already assured that the accident that claimed their lives does not involve supernatural force. However, there are claims that Elena's parents plunging into the lake is either caused by Damon for the plotline's sake or an unnamed vampire. This led fans to believe that Greyson may still be alive or that the series has yet to reveal something vital about this part of the story.
"The Vampire Diaries" episode 14 "Stay" will air on Feb. 12.
