"Total War: Warhammer" is finally coming to Linux on Tuesday, Nov. 22, Feral Interactive has announced. It is the go-to studio for porting games to the said platform along with Mac, which is also getting the game soon.

Feral promised that more information about the release should be revealed in the coming days, including the system requirements for it.

As for the Mac version, the studio said that "Total War: Warhammer" will be released on the said platform "at a later date" as it needs "a bit of extra polishing."

In related news, the next major expansion for "Total War: Warhammer" will be released before Christmas along with the next Free-LC for the game.

The Bretonnia Race Pack was scheduled to be released in 2017, but Creative Assembly has something else in mind to keep fans busy, including brand new Legendary Lords, magic items, quest chains, and units.

The developer prepared an image showing their Free-LC plans for "Total War: Warhammer," although it could change as what happened to the Bretonnia Race Pack.

There will be two new heroes and lore of magic to expect, although it is unclear if all of this will be released to "Total War: Warhammer" by the end of the year.

As for the Bretonnia Race Pack, it will be released as part of the Old World Edition of the "Total War: Warhammer," which will also be packaged with the exclusive novella, "The Prince of Altdorf," written by "Total War" writer Andy Hall in, addition to all the Free-LCs released so far.

"It's a great opportunity to mark the inclusion of a great and iconic Warhammer Fantasy Battles race, and a great point for anyone who hasn't dived into the Total War: Warhammer game yet to get on board," Creative Assembly explained of the release of the Old World Edition.

Creative Assembly will also update the game so that players who have a copy of the game already will be able to get the Bretonnia Race Pack for free from Steam.
