TLC says it's 'considering' new TV show featuring married Duggar girls Jill and Jessa

Despite months of being away from the small screen, the Duggar family from "19 Kids and Counting" still have many fans eagerly awaiting their return to television. Fans had their fill of the Duggars when the TLC documentaries "Breaking the Silence" and "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" aired, but now they are asking for more.

It does not seem likely that TLC will reinstate "19 Kids and Counting" especially after Josh Duggar's scandals were exposed, but it is not closing its doors on a spinoff series featuring the married Duggar girls Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald.

During a recent Television Critics Association panel discussion, TLC Executive Vice President and General Manager Nancy Daniels was asked about the possibility of Jill and Jessa starring in their own series, according to Variety.

"We just aired a three-part special before the holidays that did very well," said Daniels, confirming reports about the success of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." "The audience cares about these girls," she added.

When pressed for more information about the spinoff series, Daniels got fans' hopes up when she answered, "We're still talking and considering it, but we have not made a decision yet."

There will be a lot of exciting stories to share should TLC decide to pursue a series focusing on Jill and Jessa. Jill and her husband Derick Dillard have actually started their own ministry in Central America and have committed to help strengthen marriages in the area aside from sharing the Word of God. They are happily caring for their infant son Israel David, who will turn a year old on April 6 this year.

Jessa, on the other hand, is relishing the joys of being a parent together with her husband Ben Seewald. They welcomed their first son Spurgeon Elliot last November.
