The ThinkPad X1 Yoga combined several characteristics of the best business laptop of Lenovo's ThinkPad line with the best laptop in their consumer line, which resulted in another great product. The company also added something more to make the whole package sweeter than ever before.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga offers the power of the ThinkPad series. It is a 14-inch business laptop that offers several screen variants: a WQHD that gives a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution on an IPS screen, an FHD IPS screen that offers a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, and soon, a WQHD 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution on an OLED screen. Any variant will provide rich colors and sharp contrast.

The processing power will be coming from an array of possible 6th-gen Intel Core processors: an i5-6200U, an i5-6300U, an i7-6500U and an i7-6600U.This is then paired with either an 8GB or 16GB LPDDR3 SDRAM. The graphics will be handled by the Intel HD Graphics 520.

Storage starts at 128GB SSD but can be upgraded up to 1TB SSD PCIe-NVMe.

Surprisingly, since the X1 has also a Lenovo Yoga DNA, it can be converted into several working modes, such as the Standard, Tent, Stand and Tablet mode.

The keyboard is still the same spill-resistant type, which the ThinkPad is known for, plus it will also retract when put on a Tablet mode. A rechargeable stylus pen comes with the unit with its own slot to recharge and not to be accidentally left behind.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga has plenty of ports. It has three USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, an SD card reader, a headphone/microphone combination jack, and a Kensington lock slot, plus a Onelink+ port for docking and a SIM card slot capable of LTE connection.

It also has a 720p HD camera, fingerprint reader, dual-band a/c Wi-Fi (2x2) and a Bluetooth 4.1. Lenovo claims its battery can last up to 11 hours of use.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga starts at US$1,394.10 but can easily go up high with additional features.  Accessories include a leather sleeve, a wireless Touch mouse, a WiGig dock and OneLink+Dock.
