Although Polish-based video game developing company CD Projekt Red has been busy with its upcoming steam punk-themed video game "Cyberpunk 2077," it has shown that it has not forgotten about its fans who are still enjoying its most popoular title yet, "The Witcher 3." The Polish company has announced that it will be providing an Xbox One X compatibility update to further improve on the game's graphics.

According to reports, patch 1.60 will be bringing fixes to the previous 4K compatibility bugs that have been present in CD Projekt's last attempt at making the game compatible with 4K resolution. The new patch for the Xbox One X, which is estimated to be about 550 MB in size, will provide players with two graphics options -- the 4K mode and the performance mode.

This time around, CD Projekt Red will be attempting to keep the frame rates stable at 60 frames per second. Naturally, patch 1.60 will be providing more improved graphics, and will be focusing on the more minute details of the already beautiful game by most players' standards. It is notable to mention that patch 1.60 will officially put "The Witcher 3" at the ranks of HDR games.

This is a fresh new update that is sure to be welcomed by the fans of the series, especially since the Polish video game company stated previously that it will not provide 4K compatibility to "The Witcher 3" for the Xbox One X and the PlayStation 4 Pro. As it turns out, CD Projekt Red seems to be confident now that it will be able to provide support without compromising the gameplay experience for its players.

The official "Witcher" website states that the shadows and ambient occlusions will be improved as well. Although these may be considered as minor visual components in the video game, these details will contribute to the overall aesthetic of the classic role-playing fantasy game.

There is no official release date for patch 1.60, but it is believed to be released very soon.
