Fans are at the edge of their seats for the return of "The Walking Dead" in an action-packed season 6. With the killer survivor pack known as the Wolves leaving their bloodcurdling trail, and Morgan joining up the team in Alexandria, fans cannot wait to see how those clashes come about.
As it turns out, the cast shares the same excitement with fans to know what will happen next. But many will surely identify with actor Steven Yeun, who admits that he himself is still wondering what terrors await his character Glenn Rhee and his group.
But if Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon in the series) could describe "The Walking Dead" season 6, he chooses two short and meaty words — "total chaos" — with his character seeing the Wolves' nasty work first hand toward the end of season 5.
Speaking of the group who embeds the letter "W" on their unfortunate victims, "The Walking Dead" co-executive producer Denise Huth says that bumping into them will not be pleasant, but it is almost certain the group will come face to face with them.
This brings fans to Michael Cudlitz's (a.k.a. Sgt. Abraham Ford) forewarning about how the threat becomes "very real" with the Wolves getting closer. Meanwhile, Sonequa Martin-Green's (Sasha) concern in the new "The Walking Dead" season is mainly about adjusting to days where they won't have to shoot or whack walkers.
Lastly, Andrew Lincoln's (Rick Grimes) thrill stems from the much-awaited get-together of Lennie James' chracter Morgan and his own character, whose ideologies contradict each other.
"What I'm excited about is potentially a reunion between those two great men and great friends but also a splintering in ideologies," Lincoln said. "It seems like this is a man that's about peace now and Rick is the polar opposite. I think that's going to cause a lot of conflict and confusion."
Executive producer Scott Gimple took care of giving fans a bird's eye view of "The Walking Dead" season 6, saying that "every eight episodes this show turns into a new show." He then went on to say that "the next eight episodes are going to be very different than these last eight episodes."
"The Walking Dead" season 6 will premiere this fall.
