The wait is almost over. A new batch of walkers, drama and action officially arrive tomorrow as "The Walking Dead" season 6 premieres. Rick and the gang return with an outsized 90-minute season opener titled "First Time Again," where they continue to incorporate themselves in Alexandria and adjust to a new life inside this walled community.

As teased in the synopsis, a whole new threat is looming. Its impact on the group is unclear, but from the looks of it, whatever that's coming will have Rick on the verge of insanity. Rick almost lost his place in Alexandria after insisting that his fellows should accept the fact that the world has become so cruel and violent and that they have to deal with its darkness.

And if anyone realizes how terrifyingly different Rick has become and continues to become, it is Morgan, who will be reunited with them after going through his own share of trepidations alone. Morgan will be the person to fully oppose Rick's violent ways, which can ultimately cause a major divide in the community.

When "The Walking Dead" season 6 starts, fans will see the survivors fend off what could be the biggest horde of walkers they ever had to take down. "It's one great beast that we have to wrangle, which I thought was a unique, brilliant way to start the season," Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick, told USA Today.

"The people of Alexandria aren't quite as prepared for this world as Rick and his crew are. We also have Wolves, who are perhaps closer to Rick's group than they are to the people of Alexandria, but have a much more savage way of life," executive producer Robert Kirkman aka the creator of the comics that inspired the AMC post-apocalyptic hit said to the same publication.

In "The Walking Dead" season 6, there will be an abundance of flashbacks, which will depict the moments that happened directly right after the season 5 finale, where Rick shot Pete. There will also be scenes from a timeline set days much later than this.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 premieres tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. Fans can catch the opening installment via a subscription on iTunes or Amazon Instant.
