"The Originals" season 4 will not be all bloody as romance will be in the air — at least, for Marcel (Charles Michael Davis).

The last time fans saw him, he made Klaus (Joseph Morgan) answer to all his crimes in the most horrendous way he could think of. However, it will not be all revenge-plotting for Marcel.

In his continuous bid to get the Mikaelsons, Marcel will seek the services of a vampire named Sofya in "The Originals" season 4. The new character will be played by Taylor Cole.

Sofya's skills are highly sought after in the black market, and she is only loyal to herself and the one willing to pay a great price for her abilities. This bidder will be Marcel.

While their working relationship will start off with business in "The Originals" season 4, it is rumored that it will lead to a romance between the two.

"The Originals" season 4 writer Michelle Paradise teased that there will be an intimate scene to look forward to in the new season of the vampire drama.

"A lot of awesome stuff happens in the pages before this... Blood is spilled, lips are kissed, vows are made, magic is done," the writer teased.

"In any event, there's action, there's dialogue, there are exciting act outs and then, at the end of it all, there's an even more exciting," she went on to say, leaving fans to figure out the rest.

"The Originals" season 4 will see Marcel continue to exact his revenge on the Mikaelsons. The show will return with a five-year time jump, but nothing has changed with the situation of Klaus, who is still locked up.

His siblings, on the other hand, are trapped in some sort of dreamscape — another dimension that will temporarily keep them safe and out of Marcel's sights.

Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), along with Hope (Summer Fontana), who will no longer be a baby come "The Originals" season 4, will be looking for ways to help the Mikaelsons.

"The Originals" season 4 premieres on Friday, Mar. 17, at 8 p.m. ET, replacing "The Vampire Diaries," which will air its series finale a week prior.
