This week's episode of "The Originals" season 3, which is aptly titled "A Walk on the Wild Side," puts Elijah and Hayley directly right in the clutches of their enemies. The pair decides to visit what the former described as the "most dangerous congregation of vampires the world has ever known."

The party was organized by a group of ancient vampires known only by the name The Strix and their potentials to do something really bad. Elijah and Hayley, who insisted on coming with him, attend the festivity in a bid to figure out why Tristan has arrived in New Orleans and what evils he has going on.

Of course, the elegance brought by the gowns, wine and masks is only a mere façade, a cover up to what it really is – an initiation. As seen in the promo for the "The Originals" season 3 episode, Marcel was also invited to the party and he isn't just a mere vistor. He may even be the center of it in the end.

Marcel will come to know what the celebration really is all about after Aya, who he was seen hanging out with most of the time during the party, makes him an "enticing" offer, which sounds more like an command than an offer. As the synopsis dictates, Marcel "quickly realizes that things are not always what they seem."

Meanwhile, noticeably missing from the gala is Klaus. He won't be making an effort to look all dapper in this "The Originals" season 3 episode as he will be busy with something else that doesn't require him wearing a neat tux but being part of a surprising team-up.

Klaus will form a "tentative alliance" with his first sired vampire Lucien to find a missing component from his plans. It remains to be seen where their search leads them but fans will learn soon when "The Originals" season 3 episode 4 "A Walk on the Wild Side" airs Oct. 29 at 9/8c on the CW Network
