The stakes are higher and the pressure is greater on Klaus and Elijah in the upcoming "The Originals" season 3 episode, which is titled, "I'll See You in Hell or New Orleans." The disputing brothers will need to settle their differences so as to know what Lucien is really up to coming to New Orleans.

There's no time for quarrelling but one way or another, the two find a way to wrangle. In the promo for the upcoming episode, Klaus asks Elijah if he has already forgiven him about what he's done to Hayley, whom he cursed to be a werewolf for most of her life.

Elijah replies "I will consider it." But just as one might believe he is actually close to letting Klaus off after everything that's happened, he adds with seething annoyance he fights not to fully show, "when hell freezes over."

Needless to say, Elijah isn't prepared to bury the hatchet just yet but he seems to be willing to work with Klaus to learn what Lucien's secret is. Whether they like it or not, they really do have to team up because there is also a great threat hurtling towards the Mikaelsons and someone from Elijah's past will show up to make them realize that.

Cami also attempts to find out what Lucien came there for and she thinks that he is responsible for the series of murders in the place. As she investigates, not only will she come face to face with Lucien. In the next "The Original" season 3 episode, she will also learn a shocking connection between the suspected enemy and Klaus, which the former himself will reveal to her.

Meanwhile, this week's "The Originals" season 3 episode will also see Marcel given an "enticing" offer, which, as seen in the trailer, isn't all that appealing considering how he is approached. In the same promo, Elijah doubts Marcel is on their side. Lastly, Hayley goes "unconventional" as she deals with her situation.

"The Originals" season 3 episode 3 "I'll See You in Hell or in New Orleans" airs Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
