"The Originals" season 3 will see the Mikaelsons in the brink of war. Titled "You Hung the Moon," the second episode of the vampire drama sees what Klaus described in the promo as "the prophetic vision of our family's spectacular downfall."
Upon the show's return on air tomorrow, the siblings act on a "dire prophecy" that involves the coming of a new threat. Klaus, however, doesn't seem to believe this premonition and so he himself works on finding out if danger really is closing in on them.
Viewers will see Klaus take "extreme measures" about this hazard and judging by Klaus's definition of "extreme," this could mean that it has something to do with murders and blood. In the promo, he warns someone on the phone saying, "You listen carefully. The next gruesome murder will be yours."
Unfortunately, this is only one of the many troubles they have to deal with in this "The Originals" season 3 episode . The murders in the French Quarter are worsening but Cami seems to have a lead. Elijah, on the other hand, will receive word from Lucien about warring sire lines and how uncontrollable this could get. But it doesn't end there.
In "The Originals" season 3 episode, Hayley's life will be in grave danger after failing to appear during the full moon in the midst of the news that poachers have raided the bayou to fish out werewolves. This will have Elijah and Jackson worried sick.
But Hayley lovers, fret not. The werewolf is safe and sound. Sadly, this condition might be transitory. The promo shows that Davina, in fact, knows where Hayley is and she appears to be the only one who has that knowledge. But instead of informing the others, she will use her as a pawn to her plans.
But Davina promises Hayley something she wants in return– liberty – to ensure she does what she wants her to do. "You can be free, Hayley," Davina emphasizes. But in order to enjoy freedom, Hayley has to kill for her first. "Fine, just tell me who you want dead," Hayley replies.
"The Originals" season 3 episode 2 "You Hung the Moon" airs Oct. 15 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. Viewers can tune in via live stream with The CW app.
