Dahlia, an incredibly redoubtable witch, has gone on a seemingly endless rampage in New Orleans for baby Hope. Her arrival prompts everyone to team up to get the little one and, eventually, the city to safety, but the synopsis for episode 19 of "The Originals" suggests that that wouldn't happen.

In the upcoming installment titled "When the Levee Breaks," it does not look like Klaus, Hayley and Elijah will be working together. While Elijah tries to convince them that three heads are better than Dahlia's big and sinister one, Klaus goes ahead with his plan, adding himself to everyone's list of worries.

Klaus' rash actions in the previous episode have its repercussions. After killing his abusive father, Freya becomes angrier than she ever was. In turn, he vows to have Rebekah and Elijah turn away from their brother. It remains to be seen if Freya will be able to sway the two.

Klaus is also Marcel's problem. Just like Dahlia's immense power, baby Hope and the whole of New Orleans are not safe because of Klaus' erratic behavior and his unfailing ability to do things out of haste and consuming anger. Now, Marcel is thinking of the best strategy to get this out of the way or at least minimize the would-be casualties of Klaus' unpredictability. It remains to be seen if Marcel will be successful in coming up with one but his eagerness will help him for sure.

Meanwhile, it looks like Hayley ends up sharing the same disposition as Klaus, and thinks up her own risky plan as she realizes that Dahlia is just too powerful to defeat. Unlike Klaus though, Hayley is not going alone as she is getting help from Aiden.

"The Originals" season 2 episode 19 "When the Levee Breaks" will air April 20.
