In the next episode of "The Flash" season 4, Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin) is arrested by the Central City Police Department (CCPD) for a crime he did not commit.

The trailer for the upcoming installment, which has yet to be titled, was recently released and it shows Allen getting his picture taken at the police station.

"My name is Barry Allen and I'm an innocent man. I am being framed for something I did not do," he says with concern.

Later at the court hearing, the prosecutor claims that Allen is a "wolf in sheep's clothing" as he tries to convince the judge that he is guilty.

It seems like the speedster has hit a brick wall. However, Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet) advises Allen that maybe it would be better if he confesses that he is actually the Flash and that there is no way he could have committed the crime.

"If everyone knew my secret, we would never be able to stop running," Allen says with frustration.

Later, the Flash appears to have escaped police custody and tries to find evidence that Clifford DeVoe aka The Thinker (Neil Sandilands) is the one behind the frame-up. However, the speedster is caught by the police once again which prompts him to surrender.

It remains to be seen if Allen will be able to get out of this sticky situation.

In the midseason finale, the Flash was caught red-handed when police barged into his apartment and saw him looking at the dead body of DeVoe. The knife that stabbed DeVoe in the chest had the fingerprints of Allen. The scarlet speedster decided not to flee but face the authorities in a legal manner.

"The Flash" season 4 episode 10 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
