The new episode of "The Flash" titled "Who is Harrison Wells?" will, needless to say, look further into the identity of the scientist who everyone now thinks is the Reverse Flash responsible for killing Barry's mom.

Technically, Wells was merely a victim of the true perpetrator. As previous episodes of revealed, Harrison Wells' appearance is being used by Eobard Thawne, who desperately wants to get home — and by home, he means his own time in the future.

With Barry's mounting desire to uncover Wells' true identity and the reason behind his intentions on helping him boost his speed, the team head to Starling City for assistance. Cisco and Joe enlist the help of Captain Lance to look into the accident that took away the life of Wells' wife Tess 15 years ago. They then discover Wells' body and realize that the Harrison Wells they have all come to know is someone else, someone evil. With this discovery, Barry is going to be thirstier for truth than he ever was.

The extended trailer for the episode also shows Barry, Cisco and Caitlin (who is still unconvinced of everyone's accusations of Wells) see for themselves the warren in STAR Labs that holds the Reverse Flash suit and all of Harrison's gizmos. On this juncture, Barry declares it's "payback time."

And speaking of taking someone else's identity, the Scarlet Speedster is getting more of that as the new episode also introduces a new meta-human that can morph into anyone, including Eddie, Iris, Caitlin, and even The Flash.

Also while in Starling, Cisco meets Laurel, who asks the science wunderkind a favor that has something to do with the Canary Cry, a high-powered sonic scream used by her late sister Sara during fights. Noticeably, Laurel's visit in Central City is a refreshing one.

"Our tone notes to Laurel Lance [were] to leave all your troubles behind and have fun on 'Flash.' You get to see her smiling and happy in sort of a different place," executive Andrew Kreisberg told Blastr.

"The Flash" episode 19 "Who is Harrison Wells?" airs on April 21.
