When "The Blacklist" season 4 returns to the small screen with episode 5, "The Lindquist Concern," Liz (Megan Boone) will uncover more shocking secrets about her past.

As Liz and Reddington (James Spader) go deeper into the search for Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) and baby Agnes, the mother of one also learns more about her history.

The whole journey has been revealing for Liz as her family becomes more and more involved in the mission to save her daughter come "The Blacklist" season 4 episode 5.

The promo for the episode teases that Liz finds proof in the form of a DNA report that shows she did not kill her father, which is the "truth" that Red instilled in her mind.

"You lied to me about everything," a fuming Liz tells an unfazed Red in the promo for "The Blacklist" season 4, episode 5.

It is unclear how Liz got a hold of that report, although fans are warned not to jump to conclusions yet, especially since the show has been making Liz look like she has been going crazy in the past few days.

In a previous "The Blacklist" season 4 episode, Liz recalled a supposed memory of her mother writing in her diary about Red, who was revealed in that same journal Liz recently came across, was having an affair with her.

It was said that this might not be a memory, but just her imagining that as if it was after reading the supposed diary of her mother. Despite this, Liz is expected to make Red talk in episode 5, now that she knows that he lied to her. The question is if Red will actually tell her the "real" truth this time.

Fans speculate that Kirk might not be the father of Liz as he claims to be and that Red is. Either way, fans will get know more about Liz as the crackdown for Kirk continues.

The synopsis for "The Lindquist Concern" reads: "Liz's loyalties are tested as Red takes action on an operation to intercept Alexander Kirk. Meanwhile the Task Force races to find a killer who targets inventors of revolutionary technology."

"The Blacklist" season 4 episode 5 "The Lindquist Concern" airs on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
