After all the wait, the cast and crew of "Teen Wolf" are finally back on the set and have commenced filming for season 5. The proof that production has started is seen all over the show's Twitter account.

The first announcement was made on Feb. 10 with a photo of the Beacon Hills High School hallway, which looks a bit creepy.

The tweet says, "First day of shooting #TeenWolf SEASON 5... Guess where I am right now?!!!?!?"

The latest tweet actually came from Shelley Hennig (Malia) in video form, and it goes, "@shelleyhennig is the CUTEST and we're so excited the #TeenWolf crew is *back to school* and BACK TO FILMING!"

The uploaded video shows Hennig confirming that the cast and crew are back on the set and she even cracked some jokes for the fans. Actor Tyler Posey also popped up in the video.

This is very good news for the avid fans of "Teen Wolf" who have been waiting in the dark for a while now. And to show their appreciation for their loyal fans, MTV and "Teen Wolf" are gearing up for what looks like the best season yet.

"It's going to be bad*ss. Like, it's another thing we haven't done before. I'm really excited. It's cool because I know nothing about the season, I only know one part of it. But it's so bad*ss that I would watch the entire season just for this one part," Posey told E! Online

The plot for season 5 plot will show the continuation of the story arcs of the different characters. There's Derek's evolution and the mystery of Malia's mother, Desert Wolf. There's Peter Hale stuck in Eichen House with Dr. Valack. Then there's the storyline of Deputy Parrish, Kate, Lydia and Liam. Fans will also get to see more of the relationships between Scott and Kira and Stiles and Malia.

As of this moment, there's still no exact release date for "Teen Wolf" season 5. According to the grapevine, it may air in June.
