Teen Wolf MTV

After months and months of waiting, MTV has finally confirmed the summer release date of the much-awaited season 5 of "Teen Wolf." The gang is going to be back in Beacon Hills and they have to deal with some adjustments and new threats.

According to TV.com, there will be a two-night premiere event for "Teen Wolf" season 5, a way to celebrate the gang getting back together. The first episode will air at 10 p.m. on Monday, June 29, while the next episode will air at 9 p.m. the following night, Tuesday, June 30. After the two-night premiere, "Teen Wolf" will return to its regular air time, which is Mondays at 10 p.m.

Series regular Tyler Hoechlin has left the show and this led to plot adjustments for the fifth season. Now, the focus is on the relationship between Scott and Stiles. As they move forward to different directions in life, they soon think about how it would be without the other. Further, the gang are going to face a new enemy in this season, one that will take them by surprise.

Elsewhere, actor Tyler Posey (Scott) ecstatically spilled the beans on the new season. Speaking with Hollywood Life, he said that there will be creepy villains on board.

"We've got a great new cast, we've got a couple new people in our cast that... fit so well in our cast of 'Teen Wolf.' The new villains are really, really, really cool. Really creepy, really creepy. It's something we've never done before, which is like impossible, because we've done everything," he said.

After saying that, Posey went on to add that the season is driving him nuts.

"All hell breaks loose. [The characters] don't know whether to focus on surviving and saving people, or to focus on getting into school at the same time... what's more important, dying or school?"

"Teen Wolf" season 5 will premiere on June 29 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
