'Teen Wolf' season 5 spoilers: Scott and pack to meet 'greatest enemy yet'

Teen Wolf MTV

The new trailer for "Teen Wolf" season 5 reveals that Scott has more things to worry about other than figuring out life after high school. Senior year is inching closer and the werewolf foresees that after a wonderful summer, he and his pack will have to deal with either better things or really bad ones.

The footage, which runs for almost two minutes, reveals that Tyler is likely to end his high school years in a brutal, bloody way and throughout the dark, shocking clip, that spine-chilling idea is very well established. It also proves that season 5 is going to be the series' best and most exciting season yet.

"What worries me is that at some point, the scale has to tip one way or the other," Scott says in the sinister trailer. "Which means that things are gonna get really good again, or really bad."

The trailer shows no signs it will go in the former direction.

A whole new host of villains are coming their way and thee baddies are trying to bend what should be unbendable supernatural orders and rules. These new foes long to hurl Scott and his group into their "greatest enemy yet" by utilizing the deadly mixture of science and the supernatural.

"They're very scary," actor Tyler Posey told TV Line of the new bad guys. "When I first read this season, I was so excited about these villains — more excited than I have been about any villains before. They've got powers we've never seen before, they're tall as hell and they're awesome."

These villains work on breaking apart the pack, whose members are totally wrong for thinking that the only thing that can separate them is graduation and the unfolding of the "next phase of their lives."

Scott points his finger at himself, believing he is the one responsible for everything and confessing he can't fix it. While the trailer does not go about telling anything about the new season, it is enough to worry fans of Scott and his friends' future. It also proves that there is trouble in dealing with a lone wolf like Theo.

"Teen Wolf" season 5 will premiere on June 30.
