'Supernatural' season 12 episode 5 spoilers: Thule Society try to bring back Hitler's soul from an old watch; grenade launcher to be used?

A promo still from "Supernatural" season 12 episode 5, "The One You've Been Waiting For" The CW

The next episode of "Supernatural" season 12, "The One You've Been Waiting For," will put Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) in an all-too-familiar situation.

The Winchester brothers will once again be dealing with Nazi necromancers, believed to be the Thule Society, after they are called to investigate the case of someone who spontaneously combusted to death.

Sam and Dean know that this is only the work of Nazi necromancers, who will be back in "Supernatural" season 12 episode 5 in an effort to bring Adolf Hitler back to life after his soul was discovered to be trapped in a 1930s watch.

The brothers spring into action to stop the group not only from resurrecting the dictator, but also to prevent more innocent people from being killed.

The promo for "Supernatural" season 12 episode 5 shows Dean suggesting a way that will help them exterminate the Nazi necromancers— the grenade launcher.

The weapon is the subject of a running gag on the show since its inception. Dean has always wanted to use the grenade launcher and most of the time Sam does not let him.

The grenade launcher is one of the weapons in the trunk of the Impala that the brothers have not used. Whether this will be used in "Supernatural" season 12 episode 5 remains to be seen as Sam appears to be not in favor of it.

Meanwhile, the episode will also see the return of Aaron Bass (Adam Rose), who is the grandson a member of the Judah Initiative, a secret group of rabbis who fight the Thule Society. He first appeared in "Everybody Hates Hitler" in season 8.

Speaking about the Hitler episode, showrunner Andrew Dabb told TV Line, "The way we describe our Hitler is 'a psychotic Richard Simmons,' so a little different than the standard portrayal. Sam and Dean are going to fight Hitler, and that's opening up some interesting doors for us in terms of just doing some more crazy stuff."

"Supernatural" season 12 episode 5, "The One You've Been Waiting For," airs on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
