'Supernatural' season 11 plot spoilers: Villainous extraterrestrial beauty on the way

Supernatural CW

The Winchester brothers' long-fought battle has finally come to an end. The Mark of Cain no longer controls Dean. However, come "Supernatural" season 11, a bigger peril will be on the prowl and it will have all the potential of bringing destruction to the whole planet.

Darkness is now on the rise and it is about to envelope the entire globe. This dangerous wisp has everything evil rolled into one, making it harder to put it in a place where it can't do harm. The release of this sinister element in the previous season also unbounded an extraterrestrial being named Amara.

This new character, who is described to possess an "acid tongue and a seductive beauty," will be introduced in "Supernatural" season 11. There isn't much known about the character, except that she will not be a fan of Planet Earth from the moment she lays eyes on it, but considering she comes from Darkness, it's almost guaranteed this enchantress will be trouble. Her abhorrence of the place might even lead her to destroy it.

The alien beauty will be appearing in the episode titled "The Bad Seed," which will be directed by Jensen Ackles, the actor who portrays Dean Winchester. According to iSchoolGuide, this will be the actor's fifth time to direct an episode in "Supernatural."

At the moment, there is no word as to who will play the character, said to be in her 20s. But details should trickle in as the cast of "Supernatural" has already gone back on the set. Also, with the cast and crew set to take part at the San Diego Comic Con, new details should emerge.

On July 12 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., executive producer Jeremy Carver and cast members Ackels, Jared Padalecki (Sam), Misha Collins (Castiel) and Mark Sheppard (Crowley) will be at the convention to serve up some spoilers, present a "Supernatural" season 10 gag reel, and answer questions.

"Supernatural" season 11 will premiere Oct. 7.
