'Supergirl' TV show update: 'Toyman' to craft Supergirl's costume?

As far as Supergirl's costume is concerned, the easiest way to explain it is that it was made in a feminine-like fashion to somehow be associated with the famous wardrobe worn by her cousin Superman.

Depending however on how you have followed the story of Supergirl or Kara Zor-El, comic and TV fans may have seen different variations of her outfit. Some were smiliar (except for the skirt) with that of the Man of Steel while others showed how Supergirl simply had a plain white shirt with the famous 'S' plus the red cape with the same insignia.

As far as the upcoming TV series is concerned, chances are it will be the costume that many see as closely associated with that of Superman but with a skirt rather than tights. And who would be the one to tailor all that?

Jesse Liebman, who will be playing the part of Winslow 'Wynn' Schott and will later on be known as the Toyman, shared some transcribed dialogues which are unfortunately now removed. The updated dialogue can be found over at comicbook.com.

Hence, the question on what Melissa Benoist will be wearing has been somehow figured out but it does seem interesting to see how she and Toyman end up talking about the whole thing. Better yet, how would Kara inherit the said costume from the arch enemy of her cousin?

Some enhancements are in store and this comes in the form of characters that have been creatively injected. This includes inserting Jimmy Olsen who, as to all is known as one of Clark Kent's colleagues at the Daily Planet. Jimmy's presence will however not affect her relationship with Kal-El.

With regards to how Kara would venture out into her world, it may be following the same investigative approach that Barry Allen in The Flash is doing. And with that setting, those cross-over plans could make sense eventually at some point.

Supergirl is set to debut this 2015 and will be aired by CBS.
