In the next episode of "Supergirl," Kara Danvers a.k.a. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) teams up with unexpected powered people to take down the villainous Reign a.k.a. Samantha Arias (Odette Annable).
The trailers and promotional photos for the upcoming installment, which is titled "Fort Rozz," were just recently released, and they show Supergirl coming face-to-face with Reign.
"There is something in you that sees what you are doing is wrong. It sees the pain you're causing and regrets it. You don't have to be my enemy. You want justice in the world? So do I, but we're not going to find it by attacking each other," Supergirl says to the wicked Reign.
However, the villain looks at the superhero with disdain and says, "That's where you're wrong." Supergirl then realizes that she needs other people to back her up in this fight.
Danvers manages to contact an old friend by the name of Saturn Girl (Amy Jackson). However, they are not enough to hold back the attacks of the powerful Reign. They then decide to recruit two of Supergirl's former enemies, Livewire (Brit Morgan) and Psi (Yael Grobglas). Livewire has the power to create electrical blasts while Psi can read and control people's minds.
The unlikely team-up bands together against their dislike for one another to go on a mission to Fort Rozz. They plan to get important information there on how to defeat the formidable Reign.
In the last episode, Reign wreaked havoc on National City and put the people in harm's way. Supergirl was in a coma and could not help Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) and his department to contain her. In the end, she finally woke up and fought her with kryptonite. Reign escaped and disappeared for the time being.
"Supergirl" season 3 episode 11 will hit the airwaves on Monday, Jan. 22, at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
