Aside from the bashing and scintillating plays that the Super Bowl brings, the grandest stage is also a familiar fixture to see commercials and trailers for upcoming movies. And as far as the 2015 Super Bowl is concerned, there are a couple of trailers for upcoming movies to look forward to.
1. The Avengers: Age of Ultron
In what should be a no-brainer for people to see, The Avengers: Age of Ultron is bound to be among the top movie trailers to expect. While there is no official word on whether it will be actually shown during the event, the trailer has actually been released already.
2. Kingsman: The Secret Service
20th Century Fox' Kingsman: The Secret Service is expected to be shown, a comedy flick that tells the tale of a new recruit trained by a spy agent (Colin Firth) who will find himself go up against villains led by Richmond Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson).
3. Tomorrowland
Disney's Tomorrowland is expected to be included among the roster of trailers to be shown as well. The film stars Britt Robertso, George Clooney and Hugh Laurie, a film that is said to be similar to the Pirates of the Caribbean.
4. The Divergent Series: Insurgent
Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) is back and this time around she will go up against a villainous Jeanine (Kate Winslet) in this Divergent sequel.
5. Terminator Genisys
Arnold Schwarzenneger is back as the Terminator and this time around, he will team up with Emilia Clarke and Matt Smith in Terminator Genisys which is expected to come out in theaters in July, 2015.
6. Hot Tub Machine 2
A sequel of the 2010 film, Adam Scott, John Craig Robinson, Gillian Jacobson and Chevy Chase will try to save one of their colleagues from being killed. The film is set to be released this February 20, 2015.
7. Fast & Furious 7
The Furious 7 is another movie trailer that should be revealed after teasers of a short seven second behind the scenes footage were released by Universal leading to the Super Bowl.
8. Spongebob: Sponge out of water
The lovable cartoon character will reveal a film 10 years after Spongebob and his friends try to experience how it is to live on land.
9. Minions
The cute little yellow characters from Despicable Me 2 will be getting their own film and a trailer for the movie set for release on July 10, 2015 will be shown.
10. Jurassic World
Folks will get a glimpse of the the latest sequel from the Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Set for release on June 12, 2015, Chris Pratt headlines the cast of characters who find a new dinosaur threat.
11. Seventh Son
A fantasy film starring Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore will be shown as well, a movie that has been pushed back several times already.
12. Ted 2
The lovable and talking teddy bear "Ted" is back in Ted 2 who will be on a mission to become a dad. Tom Brady reportedly has a short role in this sequel.
