'Suicide Squad' movie to ever get TV spin-off?

Task Force X is expected to appear in 'The Arrow' later on in the coming episodes and from the looks of it, the gathering of unlikely individuals is getting a major boost. Led by Amanda Waller, the group will be led by no other than Deadshot which will be portrayed by Michael Rowe.

Could 'Suicide Squad' prosper on its own should be considered for their own spin-off?

To date, there are no plans from Warner Bros. and DC to give Task Force X its own series but the people behind 'Suicide Squad' are hoping that the unusual group would be given their chance like Arrow, Flash and the soon to be shown Supergirl.

But that could all depend on how the reception would be once 'Suicide Squad' hits the big screen. 'Suicide Squad' is listed among the films lined up by Warner and DC through 2020 so audience and fan reception could be measured from the film's performance at the box office.

As far as Michael Rowe is concerned, hopes are high that his character Deadshot as well as the other members of Task Force X would be given that chance.

Deadshot, aka Floyd Lawton, did make an appearance during season 2 of 'The Arrow' and with a heavier role coming in the latter episodes of the season, Rowe is hoping that convince Warner and DC to give him and Task Force X a spinoff of their own.

No plans are on the table just yet for the 'Suicide Squad' and as mentioned earlier, it could all hinge on the performance of the group on the big screen. If not, Rowe and the rest of 'Suicide Squad' may have to settle for occasional appearance on the Arrow or maybe even the Flash or Supergirl in the future.
