Rumor has it that "Street Fighter 5" will be getting an arcade mode. This is reportedly the information that turned up after the game files were mined by a group of gamers.

An arcade mode for the fighting game means that players will be able to brawl it out without being required to follow the story for "Street Fighter 5."

However, at the moment, nothing is confirmed as far as this purported new mode coming to the game is concerned, but it will definitely be a welcome addition to the game.

One of the key components of "Street Fighter 5" is the story that ties the characters in the roster together. It is something that Capcom would want players to explore.

Adding an arcade mode will make sense as the game has been around for quite a while now, and it will cater to players who wants to go straight into the action.

What is only sure at the moment in terms of updates for the fighting game is that "Street Fighter 5" has a new Halloween-themed downloadable content going on.

Capcom has added seven new Premium Halloween costumes and decorated the Russia stage with spooky Halloween staples like jack-o'-lanterns, gravestones, and even Zombie Cossack dancers.

They also teased "a familiar face or two in the background," a mystery that makes this "Street Fighter 5" DLC much more fun and thrilling to play in.

Capcom has released the "spook-tacular" update last Oct. 11, and it will be available up to Nov. 29 so that players can get their complete Halloween fix all throughout the scare fest of a holiday.

The company has also provided screenshots from the Halloween update, which gives a good look at the characters' costumes. The outfits definitely blended well with the horrific backdrop.

Each Premium Halloween costume from the "Street Fighter 5" update is priced at $3.99 (€3.99/£3.29), while players will need to shell out an additional $1.99 (€1.99/£1.29) for the Halloween-themed stage. Players could also use 40K Fight Money to avail of the additions.
