Steam Summer Sale 2015 latest news: Sale to kick off June 11?

The annual Steam Summer Sale will reportedly commence on June 11 though this remains unconfirmed for now. Further to the rumor is the fact that no official titles have been announced as well, leaving many to keep an eye out just in case the page updates.

For the ones who want to keep tabs on the page, you can find it here. You may need the aid of a translation service to understand the update, unless of course you can read Russian.

Steam is considered one of the popular game and software distribution service that millions of users access to see what titles they can get their hands on and at great price offs. Valve has been known to offer discounts on select titles, something that keeps players up to date and eventually buying titles via the said program.

The sale will start from June 11 up to 22 though a special Encore Sale will reportedly take place on June 20.

After Steam Summer Sale 2015, a 10-day sale's best discounts may be following suit, allowing members who may have missed the items the first time to have a second chance at them.

Though such is considered a rumor, a look back at previous years seems to indicate that these dates are more likely to push through. Last year, the Summer Sale took place on June 19 which is practically near to the rumored dates for the sale this 2015.

And while there is no official word on what titles could be included for the Steam Summer Sale 2015, many folks are hoping already that it would include some of the following titles:

  • Far Cry 4
  • Final Fantasy VIII
  • Distant Worlds: Universe
  • Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
  • Fallout 3: GOTY edition

Apparently these are some of the many wishes gamers are hoping would be on sale come June 11. Any other games you may have in mind?
