There are tons of rumors going around with regards to "Star Wars Episode 8." Almost always, discussions about Yoda appearing in the film come up. It is being said that the Jedi Master will appear as a Force Ghost.
A Reddit user claims that, during the Star Wars Celebration, a person from the Yoda display at the event said that members of the original Yoda team were called in to work on "Star Wars Episode 8."
Cinema Blend says that more individuals are claiming such, but the issue, for now, is that there's no confirmation with regards to the credibility of the person from the Yoda booth.
But these rumors are definitely unprecedented. Frank Oz, the voice actor for Yoda, was spotted at Pinewood Studios in London, where "Star Wars Episode 8" was filmed.
Whether or not he was there to bring the Grand Master of the Jedi Order to life in the new "Star Wars" films remains to be seen, but it is certainly an interesting and exciting prospect.
Yoda is definitely missed by fans, and an appearance for him in "Star Wars Episode 8" will certainly be something that fans will be ecstatic about.
The green Jedi Master's appearance can happen in the form of a Force Ghost as it has been established in the previous films that he exists that way now.
Just recently, actor Adam Driver, who will reprise his role as Kylo Ren in "Star Wars Episode 8," compared the next film to "Empire Strikes Back" in terms of its "different tone."
Speaking to Collider, he explained, "It's just different in tone in a way that I think is great and necessary but also very clear," emphasizing that it is not necessarily about the film being "dark."
For Driver's character, it is expected that Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren will come to Ahch-To, where Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) has stayed all these years and where Rey (Daisy Ridley) finds him in "The Force Awakens."
There, the agents of the dark side will confront the two and will see Luke's greater power and grasp of the Force.
"Star Wars Episode 8" is scheduled to premiere on Dec. 15, 2017.
