'Star Wars Episode 7' movie plot spoilers, cast: Yavin 4 to be featured?

There is a new rumor about "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" and this time, it involves one of the film's many locations. Making Star Wars — everyone's go-to website for spoilers, leaks and everything about the hotly-anticipated flick — has revealed that a familiar setting will be featured in the new film.

It is believed that the fourth moon orbiting planet Yavin will be shown in "The Force Awakens" for several reasons. The first one is the belief that the film will have strong connections to the original trilogy, which, of course, featured Yavin 4. Add to that is the use of the words "green planet" to describe the place.

While this description could pertain to several other planets like Endor and Dagobah, which are, undoubtedly, teeming with foliage, it is expected that it is Yavin 4 that will serve as the home of Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong'o) and Leia (Carrie Fisher). Furthermore, this planet will serve as the headquarters of both Pirates and Resistance forces, the former in "ancient temples" and the latter in a "huge castle."

It remains to be seen if Yavin 4 will be seen in "Star Wars Episode 7" though. What's sure is that the film's plot will be fleshed out completely in a standard time run, with screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan telling Vanity Fair that it won't be a very lengthy movie as opposed to other movies released lately that are just "too long."

" ... This new movie, first of all, it's turning out really great. J.J. [Abrams] directed it so beautifully, and it's so exhilarating and everything. It's a big movie. It's full of wonderful stuff, incident and character stuff and jokes and effects," Kasdan said. "One of the things that we always refocus on from the get-go was that it not be one of these very long, bloated blockbusters."

He reasoned that this move will not only get fans clamoring for more but it will also have the movie stand out from others by giving viewers the feeling of wishing there was more or being caught with the shock that the movie has ended.

"Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" will hit the silver screen on Dec. 18.
