When the first trailer for "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" was released, fans expectedly burst into louder clamor for more details about the highly-anticipated movie. The upcoming installment of the biggest, most popular franchise, however, is heavily guarded. Even the actors in it are not allowed to let slip even a single bit of information about the film. Mark Hamill, the man who gave life to Luke Skywalker 30 years ago, is blown away by how much of a big secret the production of the movie is.
"You know, the security on it is just crazy. I'm surprised I can even admit I'm in it! I like being surprised. It's a whole different era now. When we made the original films, you had the odd reporter hanging around the studio bribing people to give them stories. Now, I said to them, 'Do I really have to wear this robe and this hood that covers my entire head to go from the trailer to the [sound stage]?' They said, 'Yeah, there's drones.' Seriously! There's drones flying over the studio trying to get pictures of whatever they can get pictures of," the actor said via The Inquisitr.
It looks like hunting for details will be a bit arduous for those who want to take a peek.Fans can already turn their attention to the second trailer of the movie instead, Screen Rant reported. The first trailer that almost broke the Internet back in November focused on new characters of the film. The site claimed that a brand new trailer could show the old hands of the franchise that everybody loved.
Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford who gave perpetual life to Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo could be seen in familiar suits and looks in a new trailer. The site, with Latino review as source, went on to say that C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) and R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) could also appear in the trailer. Should this happen, it will be the first time all six characters will be bundled up since "Return of the Jedi." Now that will be a poignant moment for "Star Wars" fans who were there since the beginning of the intergalactic journey.
The would-be stellar trailer will reportedly go along with the showing of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in theaters in May, so moviegoers who love both franchises have a big treat to look forward to.
"Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens" will hit the silver screen on Dec 18.
