A brand new "Star Wars: Battlefront" trailer has been released and it showcases the intergalactic franchise's most beloved heroes and villains tearing their way through the enemy-filled locations with their trusty weapons and powers.
First and foremost, the gameplay trailer shows Boba Fett making an intense entrance before trouncing the enemies. He is seen showering baddies with a barrage of bullets and even flying to higher parts of the terrain.
It does not take long before Princess Leia is shown. In the "Star Wars: Battlefront" gameplay video, she says, "Our friends are counting on us," before she springs into action and swears victory for the Rebellion. As in the movies, the princess does not fall short of bravery as she shoots down enemies.
Quick scenes of walkers and Darth Vader determine to illustrate how powerful the dark side is with his lightsaber shown. The next minutes follow Han Solo as he slays Stormtroopers in his way. Gamers then find themselves as pilots of the Millennium Falcon after the shooting.
The "Star Wars: Battlefront" gameplay video also shows the Emperor in action. Just like Darth Vader, he is very much determined to show that the dark nature of the force can do great damage. Before fans know it, he is out in the field assisting Stormtroopers in eliminating the enemy.
Throughout the roughly seven-minute long video, iconic locations such as Endor, Hoth, Tatooine and even Sullust, a planet merely mentioned in the films but was never really shown. EA and Dice have their own take on the area's appearance based on how it is described in the franchise.
Apart from the action-packed footage, which also shows split-screen one-on-one gameplay, EA has also released the list of all 43 trophies that gamers will endeavor to accomplish in "Star Wars: Battlefront."
Players can be the "Best star pilot in the galaxy" by decimating 10 TIE fighters in a span of two minutes while on the Beggar's Canyon mission. "The Force is strong with this one" for players that manage to earn 10 kills in a match as any hero on Hero Hunt.
