The existence of the alleged Sony Xperia Z4 has yet to be confirmed by its manufacturer, but that does not stop the tech community from releasing and feasting on image leaks purportedly showing off its looks and specs.

A flurry of images recently made the rounds on the Web, and based on the photos, Sony did not do so much as change the would-be flagship's slender glass design. Should the device be placed beside its predecessors, it would be difficult to tell which one the Sony Xperia Z4 is.

The OmniBalance design is still intact. It still looks good and it actually never grows old despite its debut way back when the Sony Xperia Z was the thing. However, it will not be very appealing to those who are looking for design breakthroughs.

Of course, the looks is just one side of the coin. The leaked images also reveal some of what reportedly makes up the Sony Xperia Z4's package. Starting off with the model number, the photos claim it will come as E6553.

In terms of the insides, the Z4 would draw its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor if the leaks are legit. Furthermore, the handset is also set to pack a 64-bit octa-core CPU to complement its processor of choice.

Ultimately, the alleged press renders for the device match what is on the photos. But then again, Sony keeps its lips tight and the Xperia Z4, at the moment, is only a product of rumor mills.

Should it come out, it would not hurt to expect that it may come in a 5.1-inch 1080 display, a RAM amounting to 3 GB, and 32 GB of storage space that can be expanded with a microSD card. Android Lollipop will take care of how things run on the Z4 while the hefty 3400 mAh battery will keep things running.

Lastly, the Sony Xperia Z4's camera department will be formidable with its 20.7-megapixel rear-facing shooter and its 5-megapixel selfie snapper at the front. Sony is expected to lift the veil off this mighty handset or at least say something about it this summer.
