Sony promised that their new flagship Xperia Z3 smartphone line would provide the much-needed and much-wanted battery longevity, and it seems that the company is staying true to their word.
A review conducted by Mail Online supports the claim made by the Japanese technology brand that the battery life of the newly-released Sony Xperia Z3 can last up to two days even with constant use.
The smartphone was reportedly used for about five hours within a 24-hour period. The test included using the device for calling, sending text messages, surfing the Internet, updating social network accounts, playing songs and video games, capturing images with the camera, and streaming videos online. The battery of the device lasted for 45 hours before it completely ran out.
Trusted Reviews also shared the same experience. The Xperia Z3 battery managed to last for two days even without having to use Sony's battery saving power management modes, according to the reviewer.
Aside from the powerful 3100 mAh battery, Sony Xperia Z3 is also equipped with amazing specs and features. It comes with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It runs using a Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chipset with quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU.
It also uses the Android 4.4.4 KitKat at the moment, but Sony is planning to soon upgrade it to the latest operating system, the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
In addition, the Xperia Z3 features an amazing 20.7-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and autofocus features, as well as a 2.2-megapixel front-facing secondary camera.
The device already made its way to the Indian market back in September, and it will be launched in the U.S. soon. T-Mobile will be selling the device starting Oct. 29, and shipping may start on Nov. 2. Meanwhile, Verizon also announced that their deals from Xperia Z3 will also be available soon.
