"Sons of Anarchy" may have already ended a couple of years ago, but there are more stories to tell out of Charming, California, and show creator Kurt Sutter plans to tell another biker tale in a prequel.

Sutter has expressed interest in doing a "Sons of Anarchy" prequel to reveal what preceded the events in the Charlie Hunnam-led biker drama and explore the lives of the people in the life of protagonist Jackson "Jax" Teller.

"At some point I do have plans to hopefully do the prequel, which I do see as a one-off 10- or 12-episode thing," Sutter told Deadline last year.

Explaining his idea, he said the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel will begin in Nam with the founders of the club John Teller and Piney and "see how that relationship got created, and bring them back to the States."

He also said that it will explore "the obvious external dynamics that were going on with the country and the perception of the war and what an odd kind of perception these vets got when they returned home."

Sutter teased that this story will serve as "the development of the club," and so, it will end in a way that does not overlap with what has already been told in the seven-year run of "Sons of Anarchy."

Fans only got to spend time with John Teller for a short while as the focus was on his son Jax. The "Sons of Anarchy" prequel will allow viewers to learn more about him.

However, at the moment, Sutter is busy with "Mayans MC," the spinoff of the biker drama. This project is in active development, and while Sutter does not frequently update fans about it, the spinoff is indeed in the works.

It will focus on the Mayans Motorcycle Club, which was featured heavily in "Sons of Anarchy." There's no release date for it yet, but fans can count on a definitive biker story on this one with Elgin James, who was once part of a biker gang, writing the pilot and producing the show.

For now, fans can get their "Sons of Anarchy" fix with the ongoing comic book series inspired by the drama.
