Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian wedding news: Couple heads off to secret honeymoon location

Professional female tennis player, Serena Williams, has just recently been married to the founder of Reddit, Alexis Ohanian. The two had a glamorous themed wedding, which was shortly followed by the couple taking a private jet to an undisclosed honeymoon location. The newly married couple took their baby daughter, Alexis Olympia, with them as well.

According to Time, the two happily tied the knot last Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, which is also Ohanian's favorite city apart from Brooklyn. Ohanian and Williams had a "Beauty and the Beast" themed wedding that saw a lot of A-list celebrities in attendance. Some of the big names included Beyonce, Anna Wintour, Eva Longoria, Kim Kardashian, and Kelly Rowland among others.

The ceremony itself was a sight to behold, with the couple having their own VIP bar and Williams having three separate wedding dresses to boot. It is unsurprising that a wedding of this magnitude cost quite a bit of money. Mirror has estimated the cost of the wedding to be more than $2.5 million, not including Williams' plethora of dresses that she wore for the different parts of the event.

Williams was not ashamed at all about showing off her stunning wedding dress on her personal Instagram page, just moments before the wedding began. Williams' dress was a very bright kind of white, and was tailor fit for the Disney inspired theme of the ceremony.

Following the lavish wedding ceremony, the couple has jet off to an undisclosed location. It has been reported by the Daily Mail that pictures of both Ohanian and Williams were taken before they took off for their romantic getaway. This time, the happy couple were dressed comfortably, with Ohanian wearing a plain black t-shirt and Williams looking more prepared for tennis training in a comfortable looking grey athletic wear. Both of them wore caps.
