'Sense8' season 2 spoilers, release date: Love to bring out the bad in Rajan

Sense8 Netflix

"Sense8" season 2 has been made official but it seems that it is still too early for concrete spoilers. Nonetheless, there are rumors flying around that provide a glimpse of what could happen to the group in the upcoming season.

For one, there will be tons of issues involving the matters of the heart. When the web-series returns on Netflix, fans will be presented with the effects of love and loss primarily through the lens of Rajan and Riley Blue.

In "Sense8," Kala and Rajan will reportedly drift apart. The former will eventually be drawn to Wolfgang. The idea of losing Kala will destroy Rajan to the point that there would be nothing left in him but hate and evil.

That being said, fans can expect a sinister and smitten Rajan in the new season. It remains unclear what will become of the two or if things will be back to the way it was but the darkness inside of Rajan will bring trouble to Kala. How that will pan out will be exciting to see.

Meanwhile, "Sense8" season 2 will also see Riley Blue struggle to suppress her growing love for someone in the cluster. Ysra reminds her that being taken with someone belonging to the same cluster is, in her own wording via VC Post, "pathological."

While it won't be easy to discard strong feelings for a special someone, Riley Blue can slowly turn to members from other clusters for romance but this won't be easy. It has been teased by "Sense8" producer J. Michael Straczynski that there will be more groups to acquaint with come the new season.

"Not all Sense8s will be naturally good people. Some people with that ability might not be the best people. So there's a whole range of them," he described to Assignment X.

"Some of them will be more attuned to the commonality of being in a cluster, some will say, 'I'm hiding out, don't reveal me,' the value of not being seen," he continued.

"Sense8" season 2 is said to return next year.
