It would appear that Samsung is upping the ante with their next line of mobile devices. Multiple sources have leaked some major details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9, particularly, its specs.

According to The Inquirer, the Galaxy S9 will be featuring a display of 5.8 inches for the S9, and 6.2 inches for the S9 plus, similar to the dimensions of the S8 and S8 Plus. The screen will have a Quad High Definition (QHD) display, and an Android 8.0 O. Like its predecessor, the S9 is also rumored to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, so the difference in processing power will not be seeing a significant change.

However, the S9 will be supporting high download speeds by way of LTE, which is estimated to clock at around 1.2 Gigabytes per second. It is notable to mention that Samsung plans to start producing the new phones as early as this year, despite having only released the phones in April of 2017. This means that the S9 could hit stores before April, 2018, and could even be available as early as January.

It would be fair to assume that Samsung gearing towards a big move, given how the events are unfolding so far.

According to Value Walk, Samsung is already working on the codes that correspond to the firmware that is being developed. At this point, this could mean that the S9 is definitely on the brink of being just about ready to be tested. Additionally, Samsung is also looking to improve the Bixby system tremendously, since the Bixby at this point is still no match to Apple's Siri when it comes to responsiveness.

According to Blasting News, the storage of the S9 will not be seeing drastic changes. When it comes to the camera, the S9 will feature a dual rear camera setup with two 18 megapixel capacity sensors, and a 13 megapixel front camera. Overall, the upcoming S9 seems to not have a staggering difference between the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.
