Rumor mills are in a frenzy for Samsung's next flagship phone, the Galaxy S6. There is a slew of new speculations suggesting the features that will be included into the massively hyped device, such as its rumored glass backside, which will render the battery unit non-removable.

As this may come as bad news for those who like to swap their batteries to use their handsets for a longer while, Samsung is compensating this with a sophisticated design. The glass-encrusted rear will then be paired up with a metal unibody chassis for the ultimate classiness. The South Korean company has always been criticized for its choice of dressing its heavy-duty devices in unappealing plastic. This would probably end soon if rumors about the sixth-generation Samsung smartphone going for an iPhone look prove false.

More details about the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S6 come from GSM Arena, which reported that the dual-edged display of one variant of the upcoming handset has been consented. The site detailed that the handset will be out as model number SM-G925 and will be called the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. With the side panels, users can easily get a glance at Yahoo! news and financial information, S Health, Express Me and Night Clock and other notifications. Sam Mobile has reportedly confirmed the existence of such an edition.

A new report also indicates that the Galaxy S6 will pack 4 GB of RAM, a significant boost from its predecessor that only has 3 GB. The news came from a Korean media outlet that outlined statements from analysts in Korea's financial sector, GSM Arena explained. Sam Mobile also mentioned a touch-based sensor to be embedded in the relatively larger home button, where users will place (not swipe) their fingertip for easy access.

Long-rumored specs of the device include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor or an Exynos 7420 chipset, 5.5-inch Quad HD (1440 × 2560 pixels) display and a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to be a revolutionary device, one that's different from its kinfolk. This is because its maker is said to be "developing its next-generation flagship device from scratch with an entirely new vision."

Everyone expects to welcome the spanking new handset during the Mobile World Congress, which is scheduled on March 2 to 5.
