Samsung Galaxy S6 specs: Extra functionality with multiple back covers

If rumors are true, then one of the features to look forward to as far as the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 is concerned may be at the back cover. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is widely expected to come with new features and among them could perhaps be the multiple back covers that would be used with it.

For example, a user can use a particular back cover which can measure his blood sugar level and then send the data straight to an app like the S Health app. Or maybe perhaps one could use a back cover that could help facilitate better reading of e-books without worrying about using up a lot of battery life.

How about a cover that allows user to connect contact lenses to the Galaxy S6 camera? It seems the possibilities are endless, so with the number of back covers that could be used by eventual phone owners.

With swappable covers taking bulk of the features in demand to date, Samsung may have placed into consideration the power consumption as well as optimizing add-on performance levels which a smartphone can take.

Of course, all these are rumors and have yet to be confirmed by Samsung themselves. This is the latest buzz surrounding the Galaxy S6, a phone under the radar which many believe will come out with a major leap as far as design is concerned.

Prior to this back cover rumor, previous ones suggest that it will come with a curved display, similar to the Galaxy Note Edge and will run on a 64-bit Octa processor. Other unofficial specs include 3GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

While the guessing game continues, the actual Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to come out this March at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, an event where Samsung normally unveils its newest models.
