Now that the successor of Samsung's premium-looking handset duo, the Samsung A3 and A5, has gone through the Federal Communications Commission, the launch of the upcoming device known as the Samsung Galaxy A7 is becoming more and more real.

It looks like the titanic South Korean company is at last shying away from plastic and faux leather backsides for its offerings. Samsung may be at the dawn of releasing classier looking unibodies with the Galaxy Alpha lineup at the forefront. While solid details about the newest handset's build and design are still out of reach, many believe that it will look as tasteful as its predecessors.

In addition to that, a pack of rumors have previously given a face to the upcoming handset. GSM Arena remarked how accurate those rumors have turned out. Tech outlets report that the Samsung Galaxy A7 will be a 5.2-inch handset that renders a 1080 display. It will be loaded with an octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz paired with 64-bit cores. Its anatomy is reported to include a 2 GB RAM and a 16 GB storage capacity. A microSD slot has not been confirmed. Furthermore, it will house a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera complete with Full HD video recording. There will also be a front shooter that goes up to 5 megapixels. Lastly, it will feature an accelerometer, Bluetooth, a compass, GPS, NFC, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi.

BGR remarked that while these specs are noticeably incomparable to the company's Galaxy Note 4, they are surely way better than what the A3 and A5 offer. The site also added that the upcoming Galaxy A7 is capable of fetching the company great profits after its major sales plummet, noting how its Galaxy S5 became a "huge disappointment."

Load The Game thinks that the Samsung Galaxy A7 will bear a $450 to $500 price tag. It added that the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show may be the venue for the handset to be put forward. GSM Arena, on the other hand, hopes that Samsung launches the device before the year ends.
