Sadie Robertson tells girls: Pray for your future husbands and expect amazing result

While rummaging through some of her old things, "Duck Dynasty" teenage star Sadie Robertson uncovered a letter and prayer she wrote two years ago addressed to her "future husband."

She shared part of the prayer on her Instagram account (@legitsadierob), and it starts with: "God I come before you with a heart filled with your love..."

Back then, Sadie was not yet dating her current boyfriend Blake Coward, and little did she know what an impact that prayer would have on her current relationship. While re-reading her heartfelt prayer, Sadie admitted that she was "in tears."

"As I am cleaning out my old house I found a 4 page prayer that I wrote on October 7, 2013 for my future husband. I want to encourage every single girl on the planet to write down a prayer for your future husband," she said. "Pray for him as if you already know him. He probably needs your prayers! He is going through something right now just like you are so pray him through it! Pray for his confidence! Pray for him to have strength! Pray for him to be a leader, and not just go with the crowd! Pray for him to resist the devil, and the temptations of man! Pray for his protection! Pray for him to feel God's love, and the presence of God around him."

Sadie told her followers never to underestimate the power of prayer because prayer is a powerful thing. "Start doing it now, and see what amazing things the Lord will do in his timing. He has already shown me so much by this," she urged.

Sadie's post has received over 157,000 likes already, and the teen's fans are all raving about her "amazing" and "inspirational" idea.
