The Mayweathers aren't exactly fond of Manny Pacquiao, something many may have already seen from all the trash talk even before the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao tussle had been officially made.
To this day, the trash-talking continues. With only a couple of days left to what many believe is the fight of the century, each camp have their own predictions on what will come out of the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.
With regards to the Pacquiao camp, trainer Freddie Roach believes that they have come up with the right formula and strategy to hand Mayweather his first loss.
On the other side of the fence, Roger Mayweather believes that his nephew Floyd will make short work of Pacquiao. In fact, he believes Floyd will knock out Manny Pacquiao within five rounds.
Roger Mayweather doesn't think highly of Manny Pacquiao, the same view shared by Floyd senior. He co-trains Floyd and adds that as long as his nephew remains focused, a KO victory is almost certain.
While he and Floyd Mayweather Sr. practically share the same prediction, they have varying takes on what Floyd Jr. should do next.
For Floyd Mayweather Sr., he wants his son to retire after his clash with Pacquiao. He expects no less than a dominating victory.
On the other hand, Roger Mayweather believes Floyd should move forward and try to break the record of 49-0 held by boxing great Rocky Marciano. Marciano retired with a 49-0 record.
The Mayweather camp seems pretty confident of Floyd whipping Pacquiao this weekend though it remains to be seen if that would be the case. Further, proclaiming a knockout win may prove to be interesting considering Floyd Jr. is expected to use his defensive prowess to outthink the Filipino boxer.
So if it does end in a knockout win for Mayweather, such will be a surprise to all.
